NEWSFLASH St Faith's at Ash are through to the third round of the Hammond Cup after beating Sandown School 3-1 last Thursday, December 1st. Sandcastles Nursery Guess what? From January 2012 Natasha Greenham will be running multi-sport skills, tots tennis and music and movement sessions in Sandcastles Nursery. New School Secretary We are pleased to welcome our new School Secretary, Ms Karen-Jane Bowers, who started in the School Office on Monday, 21st November 2011 2011 Kent Test results…Outstanding again!!! Congratulations to Year 6 yet again. Over 85% of Year 6 passed the Kent Tests for the Grammar Schools this year. That is an astonishing 25 pupils out of the 29 who sat the tests. Congratulations to Year 6, to their teachers and to their parents who have supported them over the years. Sandcastles mural is now officially completed. The amazing picture painted on the wall between the two Nursery buildings is now finished. Carly Gear created this and please come to look at it. There is much to see: the grand sweep of the bay but also a host of subtle detail which will absorb you for ages. As one parent told me, it has added a whole new dimension to Sandcastles Nursery. We have many lovely children here, from our tiny 2 year olds to our wonderful Year 6 pupils, poised to move on to the marvellous secondary schools in East Kent. Do you know that, in recent years, over 90% of our Year 6 leavers have won places at the academically outstanding selective East Kent Grammar Schools ……?
