Do not be fooled by appearances. When you drive past St Faith’s at Ash, you may not see very much. Yet, hidden behind the Victorian villa on The Street, is a magical world for children. Acres of playing fields, many wonderful classrooms, assembly halls for drama productions, concerts dance, sport, fencing, singing and all sorts of other activities.

There are 20 bright, airy, well-equipped classrooms in the school; many have library shelves, boards displaying amazingly creative artistic children’s work, computer suites and some even have interactive whiteboards to ensure that our children can have access to the latest IT facilities.

We have masses of outdoor spaces for the children to explore, including a large hard play area for car parking morning and evening, which in the daytime is transformed into a hockey pitch, or a netball court, or a cricket square, while at breaktime it becomes a huge children’s playground. We have a simply enormous field, with an adventure trail, and a football pitch in winter, a running track and rounders pitch in summer, and a bonfire site for the best firework party ever in November! Behind the school, facing south with the sun all day, are glorious open fields and farmland. St Faith’s at Ash may seem to be in the middle of a village, but really it is deep in the Kent countryside.

We also have a fantastic heated open air swimming pool, in use from April to October and beyond, weather permitting.

In the summer holidays 2009, thanks to sustained fund-raising by the Friends of St Faith's at Ash, we built an amazing new all-weather sports court, which is in daily use. Our Netball and Hockey players now have a proper court on which to train, while after-school clubs are also enjoying playing on such a good all-purpose surface.

We understand that your child’s safety is of great concern and so we do not allow children to be dropped off in the street outside the school. We have a car park behind the school which is safe place to drop off and pick up your child. We also have CCTV protection in the school, monitoring the entrances and the playground.
