| Nursery – Under 5’s Children come to St Faith's at Ash School when they are 3 years old, and what a treat there is in store for them! Our newly arrived 3 year olds start their Foundation Stage journey in Lower Nursery. Here they are introduced to the school, through songs, music, play, stories, games, gym apparatus and lots more! In the year in which they are 4, they move to the Upper Nursery, which consists of two adjoining rooms, where, for much of the morning, the older children are in one room and the younger in the other. In the afternoons the Upper and Lower Nursery children join together with the Nursery staff, to continue to develop their social skills and to enjoy arts, crafts, role play, singing, games and circle time. Outside is a lovely garden where the children in the Foundation Stage can discover and explore the world around them in a stimulating and secure environment. |
