| Foundation Stage Curriculum Throughout the school we provide a broad curriculum, and at the Nursery and Foundation stage we focus very much on six early learning goals that develop the child’s: - Communication, language and literacy. - Creative development. - Physical development. - Mathematical development. - Knowledge and Understanding of the World. - Personal, social and emotional development. After School Care: Nursery & Reception Children The school day for our younger children finishes at 3.15pm. We know, however, that a number of parents are not able to collect their children at this time. We therefore offer a late room for Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children from 3.15pm to 4pm, at no charge. From 4pm to 5.30pm we now offer after school care for Nursery and Reception children. They will be given something to eat and drink to keep them going, and then they will be looked after in our Lower Nursery by Lower School staff until you collect them. All other older children can attend our Late Room from 4pm to 5.30pm as usual where they are looked after by Mrs Kerruish. |
