| Outings We believe that our children benefit enormously from educational visits which provide ‘hands on’ learning and introduce them to a host of exciting new experiences. There are wonderful places to visit locally and we regularly take children of almost all ages out on exciting and educational visits. We have been to Rochester Cathedral, Chatham Memorial Synagogue, Diggerland, Tilmanstone bluebell woods, Leas Cliff Hall, The Rare Species Conservation Centre, Dover Museum for a Roman Day, Tree Jumpers, Ham Fen, Battle Abbey, Pfizer Science Day, The Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, Penshurst Place, The Tower of London, The Marlowe Theatre and many more! Year 5 visit Boulogne every year, spending the morning in the old town and climbing the ramparts, and then, after a picnic, they visit Nausicaa for a wonderful afternoon in a fantastic Aquarium. Year 6 have the opportunity to spend a week in Devon in June, in the very best outdoor activities centre in the entire country! |
